ABOUT THE CLUB

VISION

Legacy. Success. Hardwork. These are the core philosophies of the Mississauga Ramblers. The club is fostering long term cricketers and community participants, giving them the tools to make their ambitions a reality.

AT PRESENT

The club continues to provide an environment for people of all ages to learn the values of fair play and teamwork. The club operates one of the largest and most vibrant end to end cricket programs in Canada. From the Junior and Senior level all the way to Masters, the Mississauga Ramblers are one of the largest and most decorated cricket clubs in the Greater Toronto Area.

Mississauga Cricket Club formed

Initial home games played out of Oakridge Park, Toronto

1968

Jack Darling Park Given To Us

Club name renamed to Mississauga Ramblers Cricket Sports and Cultural Club

1969-1977

Ramblers Join Hamilton and District Cricket League (HDCL)

1970 – HDCL ‘B’ division champions, promoted to ‘A’ Division
1977 – HDCL Regular Season Champions, ‘A’ Division

1985-1988

HDCL ‘Ed-Burns’ Champions ‘A’ Division

1986 – HDCL ‘A’ and ‘B’ division champions

THE ICELAND OVAL

The Mississauga Ramblers Home

Mississauga Ramblers have exclusive access to the cricket facilities at the Iceland Oval, located in the heart of Mississauga. The field consists of five turf pitches and an astro-turf track, sight-screens at both ends, and two practice nets. Home games of the Toronto District Cricket Association (TDCA) divisions are played at this ground. Apart from top-flight club cricket hosted at the grounds, the Ramblers proudly host various events that promote and celebrate the cultural diversity of Canada.
