A top level cricketer himself, Rajesh’s work as our Junior Coordinator is how he passes on his knowledge of the game on to the next generation of young cricketers. His focus is on and growing kids’ passion for the game alongside their skills.
2012
When Rajesh joined Ramblers, it was after a gap of 8 years in which he had not played any cricket. However, proving both to himself and to the opposition that he was still just as effective, Rajesh took 6 wickets on debut for Ramblers and that comeback remains one of his favourite memories as a club member.
Rajesh’s early days included working as a professional player for India Cements for 2 years and Indian Overseas bank for 5 years. Furthermore, he represented Edmonton Cricket Club in Middlesex, UK as an overseas player during the 2004-2005 season. Playing alongside top Indian players like Rahul Dravid and Robin Singh amongst others, he has an absolute wealth of knowledge about the game of cricket and is still amongst the most feared bowlers in TDCA!
